At the crossroads of the interstates, in the shadow of the great Outerbridge Crossing, the sprawling industrial refinies of north-central Jersey spewed smoke and wonder into the world and I was born.
Cars trains trucks and busses were my inspiration. I sang my songs from Long Branch to Hoboken over the rivers and thru the woods and anywhere else that'd have me. I played the Brighton, T-Birds, Stone Pony, Corner Tavern, Jon&Peters, Downtown Cafe, Escapades, Cricket Club (Irvington), Belmont Cafe, Sidewalk Cafe, Rodeo Bar et al.
To change things up one winter, I took the Olds 88 to Nashvegas one winter morning, where I rented a room at an extended stay off I-65 and spent the next 12 years in Music City playing venues like 3rd and Lindsley, 12th and Porter, The Ace Of Clubs, Guidos, The Broken Spoke, The Sutler, The Courtyard Cafe, Douglas Corner, The Bluebird, the Gold Rush, The Boardwalk Cafe, and my favorite, Windows on the Cumberland, to name a few.
As fate would have it, the salt life has lured me back and the mid atlantic is where I now love, live, write, record and identify. The sun rises to inspire and the sun sets to release. I play gigs for a living and like what I do. I've made some recordings that echo in hyperspace- such as "Exit Through the Gift Shop", "Confessions of a Hummingbird Farmer" and "Just Say Yes".
